The COVID-19 outbreak has had a massive impact on the way we live, where we can go, and what we can do.
At Sixteen, this has meant changes to the way we support people with learning disabilities through our educational and community programmes.
As the team were unable to visit people in their home, college or workplace, we have been working on ways to do things differently.
As part of this work, we have developed 5 online sessions designed to help job seekers think about the world of work, their idea job and what it takes to be a good employee.
Though a number of short exercises, the sessions ask job seekers to think about what they want to do, their skills and interests and what support they might need.
Once completed we offer the chance to talk to one of our job coach team to work out the next steps in your journey to paid employment.
We will be releasing one film each week for the next 5 weeks.
This is of course very new to us so do let us know what you think of our new resources by using our contact box here
