Hannah, one of the interns on the Into Catering Supported Internship, started her dream rotation this week. The rotation is in Sticky Fingers, a craft cake and bake house situated in Hanham, where all the delicious cakes are made on the premises. She is learning to make amazing cupcakes, gorgeous brownies and spectacular celebration craft cakes. For her it is truly a work experience made in heaven.
But there is no pain without gain and Hannah starts work by 7.30am, and this may get earlier, to help produce all the cakes needed for the shop.
Hannah is learning many things, one of which is that your dream job won't always be easy and starting work when the employer needs you may mean getting up early. But it will be worth it as Hannah is finding out for herself.
